This accessibility statement applies to the MeetingStar platform and its associated subdomains, operated by Frank Liebe IT, Schwentinental, Germany. We are committed to making video meetings usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Accessibility Features
Beyond meeting baseline requirements, MeetingStar offers features that specifically support people with disabilities:
Live captions & subtitles
Spoken contributions are transcribed in real time on screen, supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing participants.
Real-time transcription
A running, readable transcript of the meeting that can be exported afterwards.
Live translation
Captions and content can be displayed in the participant’s own language (English and German).
Full keyboard operation
All core controls are reachable and operable without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
Screen reader support
Semantic HTML and ARIA roles/labels so assistive technologies can announce controls and status changes.
Reduced motion
Animations are reduced or disabled automatically when the operating system requests “reduce motion”.
Scalable text & high contrast
The interface remains usable when text is enlarged and uses color contrasts aligned with WCAG.
General Description of the Service
Our offering includes:
Video meetings & webinars with HD audio and video, screen sharing, chat and Q&A — available directly in the browser, with no installation required.
Voice channels for persistent, low-latency audio rooms for teams and communities.
Recording & transcripts to revisit meetings as text and audio/video afterwards.
AI-assisted meetings with automatic summaries, translation and intelligent assistance.
Team & organization management with roles, permissions and a tenant-based workspace model.
Our web pages aim to fulfil the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as well as the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0). We work towards conformance with WCAG 2.2 level AA and the goals of BITV 2.0.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We continuously test and improve the platform to identify and remove barriers.
Despite our efforts, individual content or third-party components may not yet be fully accessible (for example, automated captions and translations may contain errors). We are working to address these cases.
The quickest way is the “Reduce motion” toggle at the top of this page (and in your profile settings) — it works directly in MeetingStar, independent of your device. In addition, MeetingStar automatically reduces animations as soon as your operating system or browser requests “reduce motion”:
- Windows 11 / 10Settings › Accessibility › Visual effects → turn off “Animation effects”.
- macOSSystem Settings › Accessibility › Display → enable “Reduce motion”.
- iPhone / iPad (iOS / iPadOS)Settings › Accessibility › Motion → turn on “Reduce Motion”.
- AndroidSettings › Accessibility → enable “Remove animations” / “Turn off animations”.
- Firefox (without changing the OS)Open about:config and set “ui.prefersReducedMotion” to 1.
If you change the setting while MeetingStar is open, reload the page so the change takes effect.
